Years ago, I worked for a manufacturing plant specializing in packaging materials largely geared to the high-tech industry. The packaging was designed to protect some very expensive electronic equipment, ensuring that it reached its destination in perfect condition. Since the core of the company was producing the packaging, it wasn’t surprising that they gave very little thought to the transportation of the product to their customers. Obviously, if the packaging arrived damaged, it wasn’t very good proof of the protection it would provide.
I decided that since the manufacturing was their priority and not the transportation of the product, they would quite happily relinquish the burden of shipping to someone who made it their expertise.
In 1989, I bought my first truck and started to make shipping my business. For approximately five years we shipped a variety of products for numerous customers, and as a sideline started to do moving jobs. It didn’t take long for us to realize that this was the service we excelled at. People who are moving are not unlike that manufacturing company many years ago. With the excitement of a new home, and the many lists of things to look after, the transportation of their belongings should be one less thing to worry about.
That first truck was many years ago now, and we no longer ship a variety of products. We’ve spent 30 years making moving our passion, our priority, and our expertise. We’re family owned and operated, and we intend to keep it that way and continue to offer the personal service that we pride ourselves in putting into every move we do.
Most moves occur between April and September, known as “peak season”, but we realize circumstances aren’t always controlled by the customer. With this in mind, we pride ourselves on maintaining our low rates and exceptional service all year round.

Unable to manage the packing, or just don’t have the time? No problem! For an additional charge, let our experts do the packing for you. Our staff will take the time and care to ensure your belongings safely reach your new home.
No, but you may want to remove personal or breakable items. We do have to remove drawers occasionally to maneuver corners or take the stress off the structure of the dresser.
No, we will provide mats or coverings to ensure all flooring stays clean and unmarked.
We have two wardrobe boxes available for you to use during the move. Each box will hold the contents of a single standard closet.
No, this is completely up to you. We customize each move to suit your needs. If you are on a tight budget and want to keep the cost of your move to a minimum, we recommend that you have everything taken apart and ready for the movers.
Yes, you can help by bringing everything as close as possible to the exit of the house being used to remove things to the truck. For insurance reasons, we cannot allow anyone on the truck.
Yes – if it is not fragile or breakable.
